Out Of have developed a proprietary combination of photochromatic pigments that change from yellow to black and all the shades in between.
These pigments in combination with a polarised filter result is a line of lenses with extraordinary properties that aren't comparable to other common lenses: a lens that changes color and darkness automatically basing on the external conditions.
In good weather conditions the pigments of the lense activate and reduce the quantity of light that hits our eyes, while the polarized filter selectively stops reflections from ice and water.
In bad weather conditions, the yellow colors of the pigments don't activate, improving the visibility of the ground while the polarization helps to eliminate the reflection from the fog itself.
This allows you to see the ground with greater contrast and enables you to distinguish subtle terrain details.
