The Atomic Backland FR is a telescopic ski pole to go with Atomic Bent Chetler and wider Backland skis. It’s been designed and developed with the help of freeski legend Chris Benchetler. So Atomic has made it from lightweight aluminum alloy, given it a bike-inspired Freeride grip that won’t slip and an 85mm powder basket for better floatation. It’s got a handy built-in ski-binding screwdriver for adjustments and repairs on the move. The pole also has a carbide tip to protect against rocks and trees, and you can adjust it from 110cm to 130cm.
